Protective Resuscitation Mask

A protective resuscitation mask can be used to prevent cross-infection when giving rescue breaths.

An alternative you might find in some first aid kits is a face shield – usually clear plastic with a mouthpiece valve.

You will be given more information on this during your ‘face to face’ session with your trainer.
